FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Below are some questions and answers about the photography holidays. If you have a question that's not featured, please don't hesitate to contact me by email.
HOW DO I BOOK?
Choose the dates you would like to come, then email me to check availability. Once this has been confirmed, I'll send you a brief form to complete, which you'll need to return to me along with a bank transfer or Paypal payment of £200 per person for the deposit. 6 weeks before the trip I'll send you some more info - what to bring etc - and at this point it would be time for you to pay the balance of your trip. As soon as you have all your travel details, please send them to me so I can organise airport pick-ups etc.
HOW DO I PAY?
You can pay either by bank transfer or credit card using Paypal to our UK account,Whichever method you decide on, you will be sent the appropriate details.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You will receive a full list of 'essentials' of both equipment and clothing when you sign up for a photo holiday. Don't worry, though, it's all pretty standard stuff.
I'M A BIT OF A BEGINNER; WILL I STILL BENEFIT FROM THE HOLIDAY?
Very much so. The format of the holidays are small groups, so I'll get to spend a fair amount of time with each person if and when necessary. All levels of photography are catered for, from beginner to pro.
I ONLY HAVE A 'POINT & SHOOT' CAMERA - DOES THAT EXCLUDE ME?
No, not at all. While it's true that to get the most benefit from the photography holidays it's better to have a camera with at very least the facility of setting aperture priority, you can still benefit from some wonderful locations and useful hints. You may also have access to a DSLR to get you started if you so wish.
WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?
Well I can organise pretty much anything, but I'm afraid this is a little out of my league! This is Spain, so the weather is fairly dependable, but of course it is never 100% certain, so I do have alternative locations and things planned for such eventualities. It's worth remembering though that sometimes angry skies give the most dramatic results! Anyway, so far no-one has gone home unhappy....
I'M INTERESTED IN A MORE TAILOR-MADE HOLIDAY. IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Yes, absolutely. If you have specific ideas for your holiday and you would like to adapt a break to suit, then please contact me, in fact pretty much anything is possible!
DO YOU TAKE BIGGER GROUPS?
I will take larger groups who are travelling together, but this would fall under the category of a bespoke trip, and as I would have to hire a bigger vehicle the cost would alter. Please contact me to talk it through.
