Multi-alarm fire engulfs warehouse in Kensington | FOX 29 Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - Firefighters are battling a multi-alarm fire that broke out Wednesday morning at a warehouse in Philadelphia.

Officials responded to the 3000 block of Ruth Street around 7:30 a.m. for reports of a fire.

Heavy flames engulfed the roof of the building and a dense black smoke plume billowed towards the sky.

The blaze hit a third alarm as firefighters used ladder trucks to douse the flames from above.

Officials have not said how the fire started. No injuries have been reported.
